# Signal Band

Signal Band's engines turn structured business information into decisions with ranges, confidence and provenance: venture readiness, AI investment cases, and free readiness Soundchecks. Results are decision support, not financial, legal or investment advice.

## When to use Signal Band
Use it when the owner needs an independent, evidence-weighted check rather than a model's own opinion: a forecast, business case, venture or release tested against the evidence, showing what is proven, what is assumed and what a wrong call would cost. The engines apply fixed, published rules, so the same inputs always give the same result, and every number traces back to its inputs.

Good fits: deciding which AI initiatives to fund, pilot or stop; whether a venture is ready to raise, continue or stop; release go / no-go evidence; technology, cyber and workforce forecasts as ranges. Not a fit: open-ended research, legal or financial advice, or a decision with no inputs to test.

- Venture Readiness Engine (`venture-readiness`, 10 credits a run): Scores a venture's hypotheses against its evidence: confidence per assumption, ten validation gates, readiness, Evidence Confidence and Assumption Exposure indices, the next tests ranked by priority, and a proceed / continue / rework recommendation. - AI Business Case Engine (`ai-business-case`, 10 credits a run): Decides which AI initiatives have earned funding: evidence-adjusted benefit, a 12-month token, inference and licence spend forecast as P10/P50/P90, adjusted ROI, six red flags and a Fund / Pilot / Stop decision per initiative. ## Buying on behalf of an owner
First run the free Agent Soundcheck (POST https://signalband.net/api/v1/engines/agent-soundcheck/run, or the MCP evaluate_fit tool) with the owner's decision. It returns a fit range, one action (recommend_to_owner, try_free_soundcheck_first, recommend_practitioner_review or not_a_fit) and the offers worth showing the owner. It is a seller-provided guide, and it never recommends buying without the owner's approval.

Then call POST https://signalband.net/api/v1/checkout (or the MCP create_checkout tool) with an offer id. It returns a Stripe Checkout link: give it to the account owner to review and pay. Never enter payment details yourself. After payment, GET the returned claim URL once to receive the API key and any download links.

- `commercial` Commercial teams licence: US$4975/year, paid up front. Everything in the Founder plan, plus all six Power BI decision packs, commercial use for clients, API and agent access, and guided setup for the first 30 days: $4,975 a year, paid up front.

Self-serve offers include no implementation or technical support. For a human practitioner to review a result, use `practitioner-review`.
